Data Merge to Single Record script for 2025

Upon the release of InDesign 2025, it has come to my attention that in both the free and pro versions of the script, users were receiving warnings about potential missing images in the resulting files, despite the images being present.

It has since been determined that a very minor change to how InDesign writes the log files that warn of missing images has caused this chaos – it’s an additional line that says “Learn More : http://www.adobe.com/go/id_datamerge”

(Incidentally, the URL is wrong and the page redirects to the correct address of https://helpx.adobe.com/in/indesign/using/data-merge.html)

Nevertheless, the issue has been fixed and resolved for users of InDesign 2025 – I’ve prepared updated files for the free version of the Data Merge to Single Records script that can be downloaded here; and for existing users of the Data Merge to Single Records Pro script, please get in touch via the contact page of this site and advise if you require the 2025 release of the Pro version.
